Sales Executive

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced sales professional with a proven track record managing energy efficiency programs and/or Partner Channels to fill our Sales Executive position. As a small company, efforts and responsibilities associated with this position are critical to driving revenue, increasing market penetration, and demonstrating value of our services. Success at this position will be rewarded with both compensation and stock options.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years sales experience in HVAC or commercial building energy related industry
  • Basic HVAC technical understanding
  • Thorough understanding of marketing, negotiating and prospecting techniques
  • Fast learner and passionate about sales

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
  • Develop end user sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
  • Continue development of HVAC service provider partner channel
  • Deliver presentations on services and energy programs
  • Negotiate/close energy program deals and handle objections
  • Local travel only (>100 miles)
